Some 84 participants took part in this very popular two-person scramb The low handicaps had a real advantage in the gross classification, won by the pair Céline Dujay and Benoit Reynaud Lacroze with 44 points. It’s the players who play consistently who do best on the technical course at Les Esserts. Yvan Sarrasin and Pierre-Alain Luisier came out on top with a magnificent card of 46 points and won the net rankings in the process.
Of particular note was the excellent organisation by the Ski School, with a welcome stand at the start, Clovis & Co for the gourmet station at the halfway point and Téléverbier SA for the splendid buffet at the prize-giving ceremony in Médran.
