Dear Members,
As the start of the season approaches, we would like to inform you about the various works currently underway on our course, aimed at improving your comfort and the quality of our facilities.
- Several bridges are currently being built along the course to improve accessibility and enhance player safety.
- In addition, the safety netting along the road at the 17th hole is currently being raised to improve safety and protection in this area.
- As part of the renewal of our fleet of golf carts, electrical installation work has also been carried out. The new golf carts will be delivered in time for the course’s official opening on 23 May 2026.
Work on the access route to the new Savoleyres facility is currently taking place near the ski lift, on the station side. Work on the link between Greens 2 and 5 via the golf course has not yet begun. We will be sure to provide you with further information as soon as possible.
Course opening and ground conditions
After a long winter season, our maintenance team is working hard to restore the course to its former condition. Although patches of snow are still visible in some places, maintenance work is proceeding smoothly and the course is improving steadily.
The Driving Range and the Moulins Pitch & Putt course will open their doors this Saturday, 9 May.
The opening of the Esserts course has been confirmed for Saturday 23 May. This will be followed, on Sunday 24 May, by our traditional Opening Cup, a convivial event marking the official start of the golfing season.
Restaurant opening times
The Moulins restaurant will officially open on 20 May. While the restaurant is closed, a QR code payment system will be available to enable non-members to pay their green fees with ease.
Due to the scale of the renovation work, La Table Verbier restaurant will not open until mid-June. Until then, players will be able to purchase drinks, coffee and snacks directly from the office.
Annual General Meeting
We would also like to remind you that the Verbier Golf Club’s Annual General Meeting will take place this year on Friday 12 June at 6.00 pm.
The official notices, along with the documents and information relating to this meeting, will be sent to you in the course of next week
